10 prep30 cookServes 2420 kcal per serving

The Story

Morning light meets a warm bowl that balances calm energy and steady glucose. This porridge layers slow carbs with intentional protein first structure and a hint of spice to invite fluid metabolic flow.

Start with protein to anchor appetite and pace carbohydrate entry. Use slow cooked grains and cooled sweet potato to increase resistant starch. Brighten with apple cider vinegar and aromatics to support digestion and metabolic signaling.

  • Steel Cut Oats1 cup
  • Water3 cups

  • Ground Cinnamon1 teaspoon
  • Ground Fenugreek1 quarter teaspoon
  • Apple Cider Vinegar1 teaspoon
  • Raw Walnuts Chopped1 quarter cup

Method

  1. 1Toast the oats gently in a dry saucepan for two minutes then add water and a pinch of salt and simmer as steel cut oats instructs until tender for slow carb texture

  4. 4Serve with chopped walnuts on top and encourage eating a spoonful of protein first before the main bowl to stabilize glucose
  5. 5Leftovers cool and then chilled keep an elevated resistant starch content to be enjoyed cold or gently reheated
